Following a surge in demand for global travel, Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi International Airport have prepared to welcome 2.7 million network passengers over the summer months. Abu Dhabi International Airport will welcome 1.4 million passengers, including 330,000 locals, with more than 1,100 departures per week across the network.
In recent weeks, Etihad has seen a surge in bookings as travel recovers from the impact of the global pandemic. Due to the increased number of passengers during the summer holidays, Etihad has enhanced its operations internationally and locally to ensure a seamless airport and flight experience.
